Water Temp Sensor.

Hi!,
I have a DTA ECU and the water temp sensor ambient Res needs to be 2.4K but the Ford one I have is 33K. The problem is that the sensor I got with the ECU is threaded and yet the Ford housing has a push in sensor. I would like to keep the thermostat housing so does anyone know if there is a 2.4K sensor to fit this housing?

Just use the older zetec thermo housing from a silver top.

They screw in.

I had a problem installing a coolant temperature sensor on my xflow. In the end I turned up a lump of ally to fit into the heater hose and screwed the sensor into that. Works OK so could be a solution?
