Zetec cooling system

Hi all,

Brace yourself - stupid question on the way!!............

I am trying to organise the pipe routing for the cooling system and have no clue which outlet is for what on the thermostat housing. I only want a simple system (no heater) but have no idea what goes where.

Can anyone help? are there any simple schematics out there anywhere??

Thanks folks.

Chris

Main outlet to the top of rad.... small 6mm on top of it to the expansion tank. 10mm ish outlet underneath to the bottom hose via a T to the expansion tank. Rear 10ish outlet blocked off....

I have used the heater circuit as the bypass for the last 18 months. Never overheated or overcooled despite trackdays and sprints. Runs at 85 - 90C. Left side large outlet to top of rad. Small stub and medium size left side outlet both blocked off. Right side medium outlet to mini heater and on to bottom hose which is rad to pump return. Rad has standard pressurised cap with simple non pressurised overflow bottle, blow out/suck back self bleeding system. Been absolutely trouble free. Rescued attachment My zetec cooling.jpg
