hand built stainless system

just fetched the car back from having the new system built by a local guy who builds zorsts for race bikes the header lenght was calculated exactly for the cam timing giving optimum flow.He's at bilsthorpe in Notts and does the full system by hand "engine specific" for around £700 anyone interested send u2u for his details

It's very nice, but if you want to do the work yourself you can make two for £200

I think that for the apparent quality of workmanship, plus the materials and consumables (not the least of which is the electricity) plus workshop rent etc etc, £700 is a very good price

I used sch 40 butt weld pipe for manifolds and preformed stainless bends to connect the straight bits. Only difficult bit was making the tapered cones going from pipes to cans (rather than using flat sheet).

I'll put up some better pics later.

blasted so it gives a more uniform golden color instead of being patchy

Been a while since I posted pics of mine LOL

Home made for £100 worth of stainless, BUT also £525 worth of TIG welder (costed up nicely against the £700 I was also quoted by two other good exhaust places, its the going rate)
