Facet Fuel Pump Location

Will a facet fuel pump be ok located under the car, about where the blue dot is, out of any wheel spray car won't see rain unless I get caught out but....

They sat in front of the rear wheel on range rovers for years and got pelted with rubbish, this never seemed to hurt them so it should be fine.
