Fuel filler

Not sure if this is the correct section for this but:

I'm struggling with the fuel filler that the previous owner has put on the car. Anyone got any ideas?

Trying to bolt the original fixing ring down so I can use the bike filler. I'm curious to see what others have done as all the previous tanks I've looked at don't look like mine!

Your wallet might not like the reply, but I'd ditch the tank and get a much lighter aluminium or plastic one and solve your current problems at the same time...
