Another ZX6R carb question
Anyone know what the 3 small pipes are that go betwen each carb near to the float bowls?

water to stop the carbs icing
you can loose them, they never get cold enough under the bonnet of a car

I have riden a ZX6R of that vintage (2000) for 5 years and they do suffer carb icing probs in cool, damp air such as summer mornings so I'd
certainly plumb the carb heating circuit in.
On the bike the carbs are very well sheltered behind the engine and surrounded by the airbox, insulated fairings and fuel tank - on a car they
would run cooler as they are much MORE exposed to airflow.
