Zetec expected power output?

Evening all,

My dads locost is to be fitted with a 105BHP 1.8 zetec fitted with a set of 40mm motorcycle carbs. A mapped megajolt ECU will also be fitted as will a 4 branch exhaust manifold.

My question is, what sort of power and torque output can we expect?
Has anyone here got a similar setup thats been on the dyno?

Thanks in advance
Dan

Hi. I had a similar set up 105 Zetec 1.8 and bike throttle bodies. I've recently changed to 130 cam shafts and I must say it's well worth the change.

Thats the same as my setup, I've got a set of 130 cams but I'm keeping teh motor standard until I've passed SVA.

I'm expecting about 155bhp???

I'd hazard a guess at 120 - 130bhp (unless you change those cams to the 2L ones!!!). Go on - you know you want to!!
