throttle cable and linkage (sierra pedal twin dhlas)

Hi guys, fitting my twin dellortos and my old throttle cable is goosed. Also the linkage I have isnt suitable for a number of reasons so I was looking at linkage kits on ebay etc.

Will the throttle cables that come with the kit work well with the sierra pedal box or are they a waste of time? Was hoping Id get a "free" cable by using the one (or pair) in the kit but suspect that because I use the sierra pedal box I might be stuck with a sierra one.

Also can anyone recommend a good source for a dellorto twin linkage? Have my eye on this one:

Thanks guys

Just ordered one myself.

Try "fastroadcars" on ebay.

Much the same though.

I used to be apathetic but now I just don't care.

SIXTY QUID!!!! Call yourself a locoster???

You're not teling me that after welding up your chassis you incapapbel of bending a peice of steel to make a bracket for the cable, buy a couple of springs, rod end and job done?

RS sell bearings if you want smoother operation and still be left with £ 50 in you pocket.

Here is one I made earlier. It may not be pretty to look at or be the ideal solution but so far it works and that is what matters.

lol I couldnt weld to save my life!

I barely get enough time to get anything done on the car at the minute so its worth it for the time saved

Already 3 months overdue on this batch of "upgrades" and the first track day of the year is rapidly approaching.

You don't need to weld!

You could make the bracket above by plotting/bending and then riveting!
