Identifying Zetec cams

Before I fitted a set of cam shafts I purchased, I thought I would try and check to see if they are the correct items.

I looked at this link.link

Now I'm really confused.
Could someone please tell me from these pictures what these are? Are they 2.0ltr ones?

That looks like a combination of a 1.8 and a 2.0 cams. Are they for silver top or black top Zetec?

Hi. Silver top.

So it looks like I have a
1.8 130 inlet camshaft
and a
2.0 136 Exhaust camshaft.

Is there any reason why this combination won't work ok?

Are these diagrams from a Black top??
or are Silver and Black top ones the same?

The reason I ask is, the ones I have fitted at the moment which I believe to be 105 Bhp don't match any of these.

The blacktop does not have hydraulic buckets you would also have to change the buckets for the mechanical ones as the profiles are different you should change them for the buckets that came with the cams or put in new ones in any event.
When I changed the cams in my 1.8 (105)for 2.0l ones they looked identicle, they came from a remanufacturer and I was told they used the same cams in the 130 1.8 as they did in the 2.0!
So I would not hesitate to use them as long as you are happy with the comdition.

Hi just to add to the confusion i will confirm that the original 1.8 130 ps cams as fitted to the early XR3I and XR2I and orion SI and the 1800 fiesta special ( cant remember it proper name ) did have cams that where different/higher spec than the later 2.0 136 ps cams fitted later on.

It was only when ford had to reduce the emissions that they replaced the origianl higher spec 1.8 130 ps cams with the 2.0 136 ps cams.

Cheers Matt
