Bike carb rubber mountings.

Has anyone glued the rubbers to the manifold rather than using clips? on many bikes they're bonded to metal, wondered if anyone had tried, what you used, what success?

P.S. The samco hose is temporary I've bought Mocol fuel filler hose for the final install.. Rescued attachment carbs1.jpg

I would use narrow jubilee clips , theres not much suitable for gluing rubber that is both fuel and heat resistant.I would imagine the commercialy made items are vulcanised together.
