20 degree hose bends
Hi All
I need a couple of 20 degree hose bends (32mm id). Any ideas? Everywhere I've looked only do 45's. I'd be happy with 22.5 degree
(half of 45) bends if there is such a thing!
Regards
Wyn

45, 90 and 135 is all I have seen; you cannot persuade a striaght hose then?

Could you not get a piece of stainless/ aluminium pipe bent to the right shape and join that to your existing pipework using silicon joiners?
Taking a step further - can you get stainless exhaust pipe that is the right angle?

How about a bit of superflex?

Do you have a local company that has mandrel pipe forming equipment.
Had mine done by local company for cash while I waited, with prior arrangement.

someone like Merlin Motorsport @ Castle Coombe or Car Builder Solutions could probably bend and bead a bit of ally tube for you.
Alternatively I have a tame motor factor who is happy to let me look through his shelves and books for parts to suit rather than spneding ages going
through loads of part numbers with me - always worth asking!

Space is a bit tight for an ali bend! Superflex might do it. I also have a bundle of old hoses and could try some offcuts of those.

Have a look at Quinton hazell hose RH1812, its off a metro. That looks like it has a section with 2 bends you could cut off and use? There`s one on
ebay for £4.99, item no - 300191108549. This hose is 32mm and used on many zetec engined kits.

You could try looking through your local Gates agent catalogue. They have illustrations of every hose listed in bore sizes - very handy for my odd
hoses.
Cheers,

Thanks guys
I've bought the Metro part off eBay but managed to get it finished using bits form my box of spare ali and rubber hoses.
