have used the std "rotary" linkage that came with my dhla's (ex alfa I think). That was a doddle. You may be able to pick the bits
up off ebay? plenty of scrap dhla's about.
To balance the best by far is the morgan carbtune, really accurate. Other airflow meters OK, but the rr guy was gobsmaked how well they were balanced
when I took it in.
Which carbs (ie suffix?) and engine?

Mike heres a pic of a scabby linkage I picked up on the bay.
As I was so bad I made a new one in stainless.Looks nice when polished up.
