4age plumbing
Hi guys
After finally sourcing an engine (4age 20v blacktop) I'm starting the joy of planning the plumbing. I found this photo for reference (as well as
peoples archives, thx ) but wondered if I could check a few things.
1. The diagram shows the 'Heater Lines' with a 'don't loop' comment but they are loopedint the piccy!? I presume these go
to/from a plumbed in heater but which way round should they be?
2. I won't be using the brake boost lines or the AC line, so can I just cap them off?
3. What are the PS(1) and PS(2) lines?
Many thanks for your help.

Here you go,
works a treat like this from +33degrees to -7 degrees,
temp always stays 86degrees when in motion, never overheated in 14.000kms+
Rad is from an MG, I think it looks like one)
the statement about the heater lines in you picture is WRONG, you'll get a hotspot in the head. the toyota levin has a 3 way valve for heater
controll, so the line allways flows coolant even with the heater turned to cold.

Good luck gimme a shout if you have questions.

PS Hey Ben, how are you doing with the striker?

Ben, I am looking to use the stock ecu.
Thomas, thanks for those piccies. I'd been looking at your archive trying to figure out the routing.

Hi,
Very similar routing on my car except I recently installed a water/oil cooler. So on mine the heater loop goes to and from the oil cooler sat between
the oil filter and engine block. The header tank is T'd into the top heater hose similar to above.
As for the vacuum hoses as I'm using an OMEX ECU I've basically blocked them all. Except one going to a MAP sensor and another going to my
boost gauge (as its got an SC installed).
Here's a decent guide to the various connectors..
