"Real" engines ;)
Been to the Bradford Classic today, saw lots of cool cars, all overshadowed (in my view) by the 3 static RR Merlins/Griffons.
Real engines
When they started all 3, it was magic, I could more feel it than hear it. Truly splendiferous
Oh yeah, there were some cars there too

Almost, he's using the Meteor engine, no forced induction, originally used in tanks

I bet if you started them they wouldn't be static for very long.
Arn't they using the tank meteor engine (non supercharged spitfire engine) in a car in Practical Performance Car magazine?

They stayed planted, amazingly, just used (what seemed to be) rubber aeroplane chocks, they were giving it some, I was stood in the airstream from
them and found it difficult to stay upright Smelled lovely

Very nice, but would much rather see them working in the front of a Hurricane or Spitfire!
