I got mine done by Autoprop in East Grinstead - not actually in Kent, but close enough to TW . It was a couple of years ago, but £110 rings a bell for Type 9 to Escort live ale.

A bit further away but you could try Autoprop in East Grinstead

Dont be worried about the look of the premises. He does excellent work and at a good price.

No connection just a satisfied customer.

I rang round and found autoprop to be one of, if not the most expensive - was going to use them as they about the nearest to me aswell. I got mine from D&F up north, all they need is distance from gearbox output shaft to dif flange and make it to suit. You can discuss tube/joint size depending on your engine/power output.

I made my propshaft from the bits left over from a normal mk2 escort, and took it to autoprop, and he balanced it for £25
was back in 1998 tho !!

I used Bailey Morris in Eaton Socon, and they were dead good. Very professional, quick, and a top quality product

Got mine done at AutoProp a few weeks ago. Had new UJ's fitted, TRT, lengthened, balanced & a coat of paint for £120. Didn't think that was too bad a deal.
