I think i saw an episode of scrapheap challenge ages ago where they used a starter motor to drive a car. Sureley a locost way would be to fit one to drive it in reverse.

I will be fitting a reverse starter motor kit to my R1, but I am rear engined so I am running a chain diff.
It comes with a cog that replaces the nut that holds the final drive cog on, if that makes sense?
The starter is a solenoid driven type.
I bought a kit from lynxae.co.uk cost £320.
Not cheap, but a nice bit of kit.

Welcome to the madhouse!

Park it on a hill

Not kidding either, here is me at Teesside yesterday, where part of the paddock is on a slope.
