Cam advice
Now I've started porting a spare head for my Zetec I've also started on the search for a new hot(ish) cam.
Now I know I should leave the head work to the pros but I'm having a bash, and I think I'm pretty damn good .
The tricky bit is picking who to get my cams from. I started off with Piper, then Catcams came along followed by Newland, and Kent Dunnel toooo
pricy.
Any advice wood be good.

The rule of thumb of picking the ideal cam. Choose a lower profile than the one you really want! I once had L1 cams in my BDA when I should of had
L2s!

Pics so far, finish looks rougher than it is, will just smooth a little more and will be done. Exhaust ports seem to have more scope for opening
out.

Make sure you clean up the transition from throats to valve seats to chambers as this makes a surprising difference to flow at low openings.
