Thank you, you clumsy Kraut!!!!
There is a major car manufacturer, with a quality control problem, they are over filling their sumps, which, when the cars get to the owners, are
passing partially burnt oil over the cat and the rest of the exhaust system. Because of this, they are replacing the whole system and chucking the
'spoilt' old systems.
One of the systems had only covered 3 miles before being replaced, and the stainless steel rear box got chucked in my direction - can anyone see any
problems with using it, it has a 50mm inlet pipe and a baffled interior (wouldn't you be!). I think it would be OK on the 103db front as it
normally silences a 1.9 TDi engine producing 150BHP (no, I cannot tell you the manufacturer!!)
I quite like the twin fishtail rear end which points down to the road

funnily enough, the silencer has a strange symbol on it, looks like oooo and a v stamped over a w, perhaps it is a new BMW derivative or even a
Bentley!

Oi, that avatar is all my own work, the inspiration for it came to me in a dream (and my inspiration for this rant came from Carroll Shelby), if
someone else has nicked it, then there's going to be big trouble!!

My mate Phil's got one like that on his brand new 150ps Golf. It must weigh a ton.
yours, Pete.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
