Judging by at least one person I know you will have plenty of time to think about it!

The easiest thing I ever did! Its a close to plug and play you can get with our type of cars! I had no problems at all and they work brilliantly and
haven't even been rolling roaded! The choke cables are easy to fit just drill a hole to mount it and thread it up with an adjustable nipple
type thing to secure to the carbs....to be honest though you wont need it....just take the bonnet off when its cold as you shouldn't be razzing
it till it warms up a bit.....Oli.

One less argument to have on the big day! Gotta find myself a TIG now and a new proffesional auto helmet! Oli.
PS.
Sorry for slight thread redirection!.....now back on track.

A choke cable from an early fiesta is long enough to use in a seven style car. I had to cut about 3 feet off of the one I used. Easy to fit too, and
it even has a light in it that, if wired up, comes on when it's pulled out. I didn't wire mine up, would have added too much weight.

Has anyone tried converting the Sierra bonnet pull lever into a choke?
Steve.

Yup, that's what I have done. Pull the orange lever down to start the engine, leave it running for 2 minutes, jobs a good'un.
