Rover V8 engine width

Would someone be a luv and measure their RV8 width from the widest part which i think is the top of the heads.

Andy just looked at that again trying to work out what is on the right of the first picture assume it is a fuel pump ( as fitted on the P6 era ) so if you are planning a later front cover may be a little narrower.

I would also sugest that the fan be binned on the middle photo

You will also have to allow for some exhaust headers.

can add some photos of my instalation with the tape measure tonight if required.
