Blade headers, been very busy

Hi all,

Been a busy couple of weeks, took two days to produce these headers.

2m 1.5" o/d stainless
1m 2" o/d stainless
7 x 90 degree 1.5" bends
1 x 90 degree 2" bend
1x GSX 1000 can

Total cost £140

Made the collectors by splitting the pipe, tigging to shape them flattening a bit of the 2" tube to make triangular infills

Eay enough to do, I used masking tape to hold the bits together, then spot welded, removed and finished off. Still needs a polish but some how I doubt if I will get that keen. Biggest noise is the induction roar..... Rescued attachment Exhaust side view may 2006 small.jpg

While I was about it I also bulked at the price of wings and wanted them to be a really tight fit to the wheels so produced a couple of MDF & hardboard moulds.

Radiused the edges by filling with plaster and running a ball stolen from my dogs around.

Just waxed up, then laid in the glass fibre, took one day for these, cost £45 for all four. Rescued attachment Buck less moulds and wings small.jpg
