Cambelt change?...problem!
In the haynes manual it says to position the camshaft pulley on the TDC dimple on the head...which I have done...
However, it also says to put the crankshaft pulley at TDC....
I can see the pointer on the engine case, but which of the little marks on the pulley do I lighn up with the mark on the case before fitting the
belt?
Thanks.

Ok, thanks.
Does the other pulley need to be aligned to anything? (the one on the right that I assume drives the dizzy and pumps?!?)

There are two types of crank pulley on the pinto. On the most common type TDC is the biggest grove which is closest to the exhaust side of the engine
as mentioned above. However, on the other type of pulley wheel there are grooves before and after TDC. The TDC one is still the biggest.
As far as the other sprocket is concerned (the auxillary sprocket) the failsafe way of aligning theis is to take the cap off your dizzy and turn the
auxilary sprocket until the rotor arm point at the number 1 mark. The engine will then require timing to approx 12 degrees of advance.
