Fireblade Oil Catch Tank
Hi
May be the most stupid question in the world but here goes!
I am thinking of fitting a oil catch tank, I can only remember of one breather on the blade for the crankcase, cant remember any others (not that i
have looked)!!
So how many inlets would i need, Just the one?
I was thinking of breather filter on top of the tank with a sight glass on the side for the level in the tank.

Cant answer for blade but ive taken one from crankcase and second from the oil filler cap vent (top of rocker cover). I guess bike engine doesnt have
this one so single inlet should be fine.
Ive just posted a pic of my tank to show filter location (posh beer can catch tank post).
Sight glass not always required. You could always get a tank with 2 inlets so you have another just in case and just blank it off for now. My tank was
very cheap and im sure Dene will do mail order.

So just one inlet (breather into the top). Except now the breather for the catch tank has been replaced with a filter (used a fuel filter since a
poncy K&N didn't seem locost enough  )

So the black pipe on the side is a breather?

Yeah in the photo it just vents to air, but I since replaced it with a filter. At the time it was just somewhere to keep the bit of pipe so I
didn't lose it

Aluminum Drinks Bottle purchased in dinner hour £1.99! Push Fits and Nylon for level check already got, just need Filter for top and inlet tube.
Will Post a pic when finished!

If you want to keep it cheap then like I say I used a fuel filter from halfrauds. Looks like this: -
(the bottom left one)
Cost about 2 quid.
