MId engine idea and help wanted

Using a rw drive donor for an mid engen car can i do next if i bypass the shaft and conect gear box and rear diff.And how will i cange gears any pictures will help Rescued attachment untitled1.JPG

I've seen it doen once before. It was the longest powertrain I've ever seen in my life. You have a gearbox output shaft and a diff input shaft to accomodate. A proper transaxle incorporates all of these together.

What about an Audi 80 gearbox - this is in line and much shorter than you propose.

I have one cheep idea for mid engine , use the rear axel and diff from OLD vw Beetle and Honda engine , lot of honda engines are left so it will ride in right direction.... ....

the other method is to modify Rorty IRS plans and put comlete engine and Front wheel drive from a donor....
