Home Built Plenum

Here are some pics of my latest project.
I deceided to manufacture my own Plenum and mate it with a cut down & modified 1600 Escort Zetec injection manifold.
The eventual aim is to fuel the thing with an Omex ECU.
I rolled the plenum from 3mm ally and welded it to a 12mm ally plate that has been gas flowed into the manifold

Looks awesome BKLOCO!

Great bit of fab work..

Is ally TIG welding really an artwork compared to MIG steel?

Chris.

Not "artwork" pure skill. LOL

Actually it's just practice same as anything else.

Plus I am an engineer by trade!!! Therefore have access to some very nice kit.

IF you got access to good kit you can build good skills and get great results.

IF you have no access to good kit your skills suffer and your results are MUCH worse.

Nice plenuim by the way..I had to review it a couple times looks NICE. Very slick...
