They are cheaper than Webers ,
They are eassier to set up than Webers,
They give better response across ALL of the rev range compared to webbers ,
Yet everyone has Webers

there isn't with webers if they are set up correctly!
Bike carbs do win on cheapness and ease of setup though, but they aren't magic, they still rely on petrol being sucked though bits of metal with
holes in!!

Any carb/intake thjat is tuned 1 per cylinder is gonna be better than 1/2 cylinders even with the amount of tweaking you can do with webers... the
assistance of the cv type carb on bikes is that you can tweak them that bit more accurately and they self adjust for vacuum...
Bike carbs are the new webers...
look at the amount of companies now offering bike manifolds for the VX and ford motors...
Opinions are like backsides..
Everyone has one, nobody wants to hear it and only other peoples stink!

Bike carbs are the new SUs.
Webers fail on drivability because the air speed through them is crap at low revs when you open the throttle too much, reducing the venturi effect.
Bike carbs and SU carbs overcome this by having vacuum operated slide throttles, thus keeping the air speed high over the jets. Another advantage is
the ability to use the vacuum operated slide as a variable jet actuator by hanging a tapered needle valve off the bottom of it, allowing more control
of fuel delivery. By comparison Webers are stone age.
