zetec sump

Those of you that have used the Zetec engine,what/who's sump have you used?

How much did it cost?
Did you have any problems like leaking not fitting well etc.

Hunt around your local scrapyard for the sump off a 1.8 zetec powered late model escort. It is shallower than the Mondeo one.

And on some zetecs (this is mentioned in another post) the sump can be quite easily shorted by someone handy with a welder. Look for the other post!

Yep its baffled..It also has mods to the side which clear the starter motor.

just fit a 1.6 zetec sump and pick up pipe.
works well with no oil surge
