Billy - you dont want to use a Pinto. No good for a Dutton Sell it to me!!!!!
Seriously tho' it will be a great engine. You are lucky to have it. Im aspiring to a 2.1 or even 2.2 in the future. Dave Walker suggested that a
well tuned Pinto should be as good as a Zetec in the right hands.

2.2 might be pricey with correct fuelling and ignition though. Bike carbs and megajolt???? mmmmm nice.

Much maligned the pinto is become (sorry been to see the new Start wars .....)
If you already have a Pinto pushing out 170Bhp then go for it. Engine is pretty tough and best of all - simple. I know it's a little over
weight but aren't we all ?
Should make for pretty damn good performance

Yep, with 170hp, may as well use the Pinto, but.......................£3000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have 2 x 200hp Vauxhall XE engines with all ancilliaries (throttle bodies etc) that cost me less than that in total!
