Nice work Dave.
How much of a power increase have to got over standard? Which bike did they come off orginally and did you have to replace the jets and what size did you go up to?
Are you running that with air socks or an air box.

Sorry for all the questions, but I'm ivery curious :-)

Thanks

Ali

Conrod: Could well be .......

I dont know how much more power there is 'cos the old setup was never measured and this setup has not been on a rolling road.

All I can say is they make the engine smooth and resonsive ,and sound frightening when you boot it ,(i'm not sure the CVH can take it!!)

I have an onboard lamda/mixture readout and although the bottom end is OK the mid to top end is very rich.

So the fun will start..........

I'm still running the standard 1800CVH ignition ,which needs a vacuum pipe else you get very little advance, but the carbs seemed happier when I ran without it. but I have a Megajolt on order and will probably just run 2d to begin with......

The carbs are from a 750 gsxr Suzuki and they are 38mm.....

The manifold was made by Myself and Stu (of Fozzie fame!!!, who's help saved me lots of hassle ,and was greatly appreciated...) , and in true Locost form was made of 0.25" mild steel plate and some gas barrel tubing from the blacksmiths.. Rescued attachment Finished Manifiold 3 sml.jpg
