If you have a silvertop zetec alternator, you can use a Crossflow mount redrilled for the zetec block mountings as the lower mount.

For the upper mount (i.e the bit that does the tensioning) I *think* you can use the crossflow tensioning bracket, but you'll need to find a way to mount it to the block.

This is one of the things on my list of things to do at the moment.

Stephen

PS Here's a pic Dunnell's version

<deep breath>

just spoken to them in the hope they were reasonably priced...

around £150 including alternator (not too bad but I don't need the alternator)
about £80-90 without alternator (ow)

I'll be honest - I can't see how many of these places (especially Raceline) can justify their prices except with the argument "People are willing to pay it"

sierts design worked for me.

http://home.tiscali.nl/~svos/alternator.html

Mounted the tension bar (old sierra one IIRC) via solid aluminium bar drilled and attached to two right most inlet manifold studs.

I copied sierts bracket for my pinto fitted with a bedfors/suzuki rascal alternator,tension bar on the top as givemethebighammer said.

Works fine,i'll do the same on my zetec install.
