Limited slip diffs - Helical
I can buy helical LSD's quite cheaply (comparatively speaking & providing I buy several at a time) but they are only available as standard
for the English & Atlas axles, which I assume are only live axles, not independent.
That in itself wouldn't bother me as I want them to use in a chain drive diff, so would make my own bearing carriers etc., but the English is a
22 spline & the Atlas a 16 spline, are these spline setups the same as any later Ford independent axle diffs, in other words, are there any Ford
driveshafts with c/v's or pot joints that could be used with those diffs or is all the later stuff completely DIFFerent (see what I did there?
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

The early sei westifelds used a english diff/cwp in an alloy housing, i don't know what drive shafts they are paired with.

The Westfields used their own cases and special output shafts in their early independent rear ends.

Simple matter of cost, for instance if I can get a few orders for these, then I could do the English diff for £349.95, & the Atlas unit for
£384.95, in both cases that's about £40 less than Rally Design have these at, they are the Professional Traction Blackline units, I believe the
Quaiffe IB5 is over £600, so that's quite a difference!
But for the diffs to be any use to me I need to have an inboard joint that would be a fit for the spline

Lotus Elan used english diff in lotus housing. So splined output shafts are available. Shame they will cost a lot more than any discount on your diff,
don't know of any others.

Found this - may be the same as the ones you are looking at but for a landrover, think they had splined drive shafts as well -

You might also find some inspiration on here as well - http://chaindrivediff.co.uk/about/home/shop/

Don't actually need any inspiration, we already have our own chain drive diff using the Toyota donor diff, but I was looking for a cheap way of
doing a LSD & a supplier coincidentally offered me these diffs.
Just need a way of using one of those diffs with ordinary driveshafts rather than solid halfshafts :s
If anyone is interested in the diffs for English or Atlas setups I could see if we can get a group buy together, if anyone's interested then u2u
or email me at russbost at googlemail dot com

Atlas LSD
Atlas lsd
To be able to do the prices I have listed above I need to get at least 5 orders for whichever diff (if I can get half a dozen combined that would also
do it)

The cheapest option is to strip out a Sierra LSD as all the LSD bits are in the housing the crown wheel bolts too.
Yes I know it's a viscous diff but it's the cheapest option and will take Sierra shafts

I would have thought decent second hand Sierra LSD's would be a bit like hen's teeth by now!
