Is a 10mm feed to the coolant system too small?

On a BEC, will a 10mm ID feed from the header tank to the coolant system be too small? The bike's is actually very small but most cars' are much bigger.

If its just the header then I would say it would be ok as doesnt need much flow.

Header tank on the bike is not a full flow through as such, provided the radiator is plumbed with big pipes then 10mm is fine for the header as it's really just for expansion and for any bubbles to blow into.
