duratec to type 9 sudden noise, the result!

hi guys, firstly a big thanks to everyone on the forum who has helped me out. Today i took the gearbox out and found out what caused the horrid noise. I used a spacer kit as im using a v6 gearbox, and the supplied bolts have come loose. Looking at it closer i can see the bolts dont come right through the threads on the gearbox even though they are the longer ones. Anyone know where i can get even longer ones? Need to be about 10mm longer than the ones retro ford supply.

I got some long ones from Namrick on the net think they are 12 x 1.5mm.

Glad to hear it may not be too serious, check for the bell housing bolt when you open it up though

Measure the bolts and post here what you need, I might have some in the garage, either hex or allen head as I have a lot of long M12 metric coarse stuff
