duratec belt arrangement
As my car is LHD I plan to use this belt arrangement with the Duratec (sorry for the quality!!)
Red arrow for belt route round the water pump and blue circle for the alternator pulley.
I fitted 2 idler pulleys, one with the stock spacer and the other with a new larger spacer to align the idler pulley using the holes in the cam chain
cover:
Do you think it will work, or should I change the larger spacer and use anything different?
Many thanks!!

Water pump runs the other way off the smooth side of the 6pk belt.
Perhaps I should read things better

Yes it's same way as yours. Alternator is mounted to the other side (LHD car).
Thanks!

Exactly the same! It seems I fitted smaller pulleys. I'm a little concerned about the large spacer behind the lower small pulley though.
Many thanks!
