Steel brake pipes, anyone fitted them?
I bought microbore copper pipe for my fuel lines, I could not bend it without kinking, so I went to the scrapyard, grovelled under an Astra for ages
in the rain to get nice blue plastic pipes - these would not bend to the radius that I needed, they just folded up!
So, I thought - get some proper galved steel pipe, just like the manufacturers use.
They are 8mm, 0.9 mm wall thickness, and VERY difficult to bend, you have to bend the pipes off the car, and then fit in situ. They are VERY strong,
on a test piece it resisted a 12oz ballpein until I got really serious.
They are a serious proposition, just take a long time to fit, make your arms ache, they do look though

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

We don't talk about those holes!!
I was going to fit the injection pump on the right hand side, but a space/pipe route/prop clearance dilema became evident, they are the old clip
mounting holes. I filled the chassis tubes with Wurth chassis protect and bunged in rubber grommets
