Question for Rover engine (as found in MGF) experts

I'm trying to help out a friend who has the engine out of an MGF to do the headgasket.

The guy doing the work has been unable to source the seals which fit parts of the variable valve timing gear as shown in the below pictures. He is understandably reluctant to just reuse them and risk a leak which would necessitate removing the engine again.

We need the 2 different O-ring type shaped seals and the lip seal shown on the one part. I don't know if there is a further lip seal in the other end of the bore in this part.

Details of the engine are:

Capacity 1800
Year of Manufacture 2003
Engine No 18K 4KN 28560497

While I am sure we can source these parts somewhere, in order to ensure we get the right bits can anyone advise what Rover describes these parts as, or even better quote the required part numbers.

Also, any recommendations for suppliers?

Thanks

Fred W B

You used to be able to get them off eBay, I've reused them in the past without proplem. I just cleaned them up inspected them for any damage and put them back in with a dash of hylomar. I think the MG owners club stuck them though.

Out of interest why did he take the engine out? I've done many a HG on an MGF and never needed the engine out! I even put new pistons and liners in with the engine in situe!
