Gearbox mount
While we were doing the engine swop today we thought we'd sort out the gearbox mount which has got very sloppy, turns out it's totally shot,
rubber part has completely separated from the bracket.
Is this a standardard mark 1 Escort mount as sold by Burton

its the sierra / granada 5 speed one
you should be able to get one from any motor factors or ford dealer...

IIRC from what I've been told on here from a previous thread of mine, the Burton Power one is a direct replacement fro the Ford one and much
better as it's not so soft.
Unfortunately I can't find the thread.
It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

Use the Westfield/Caterham mount , it's much better although it may need a bit of fettling to fit. Might be worth doing a search on the forum?
