Info on ZZR1400

On the ZZR1400 there is a water/oil heat exchanger/oil cooler on the block. There is an entry hose from the water pump into this unit, can anyone tell me where the hose from the other side goes (small bore pipe approx 10 - 12mm ID) - I would expect it to "T" into the bottom hose, can anyone confirm.
Also there is a very small bore rubber tube from the top of the distributer housing - where is this piped to on the bike?
Do these two pipes act as a feed/return from a header bottle???
Grateful for any info.

ZZR1400 Cooling Circuit

Here is the ZZR1400 bike cooling circuit.
As far as I remember, I used a T piece to connect the oil cooler pipe into my top hose to the radiator.
I was not using the original bike header bottle so the small pipe was connected into the radical's swirl/filler tank (which was connected to the water pipe from the right side of the engine). The other outlet for the swirl pot is my 'top hose' which connects to my radiator.
