Exhaust positioning

Hi All!

I have just been playing in the garage with my exhaust and have a bit of scope with its location so my question is - is there a recommended gap I should leave between the end of the pipe and the leading edge of the rear wing? BTW its a 7esque car with a side pipe.....

Any advice gratefully received........

Cheers

Chris

I left about 3" on mine. No problems to report

I have seen others closer, but my wing seems to stay pretty clean.

As long as the pipe has a 90 degree outlet e.g. not pointing straight at the wing then a couple of inches is plenty.

maybe a stainless, ali, or real carbon wing protector will be an idea too?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
