duratec cooling layout

I know there were discussions on zetec/pinto cooling system but I couldn't find anything about the duratec,

I'll be using the standard thermostat and Polo radiator, I came across this diagram but I won't have the heater and I suspect using pressurized expansion tank is a better choice? Rescued attachment duratec_cooling_layout.jpg

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Take the heater out.

Blank off the 19mm hose on the rear of the head.

Connect the 19mm hose on the stat to the header tank outlet. Connect the small 6mm hose connections on the rear of the head and top of the rad to the return to the header.

Simples
