Duratec oil in and out holes?

Which one is which? We're doing a remote filter DIY style, which one is nearest the bellhousing?

So just to clarify, the one nearest the bellhousing is out of the filter and in to the block?

Hole nearest bellhousing if the filter oulet (i.e. is the feed to the block)

The hole furthest from the bellhousing is the feed from the pump (i.e the inlet to the filter).
