Sump questions
Afternoon All,
I've had my Pinto sump modified and as you can see the guy who did it painted the finished sump inside and out with red oxide primer. I am
assuming that it would be better to remove all traces of paint and leave the inside bare metal to avoid contaminating the oil.
Am I right in my assumpstion???
Cheers
Nick

I was considering having it shot blasted, but nitromors might do just as well!

I see that no wings have been added, is this because the extra capacity will be in an external cooler? I hope so cus' this is how I want to do
it!! ( boffins please advise if this is a no no!)

Gee shucks.....
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

The capacity has been maintained by extending the mod the length of the sump. I am not planning to fit an oil cooler at the moment.
The pick up has been modded to match, but I haven't got any pics here at the moment - will post some in my archive shortly.
what about the paint though????
