Help me identify this Starter Motor
I acquired a starter motor with a part built kit recently. It's brand new and has Unipart No. GXE 4568 on it? Can't for the life of me
find out what it's for (E-Bay purposes) or whether it's any good to me (Zetec to Type 9 install).
Any ideas?
Thanks......

GOOGLE IS A WONDERFUL THING
Looks like a DOHC starter which is exactly what you need for Zetec -> Type 9

Yep your probably right as the Pinto is quoted as 1994cc and the DOHC 1998cc.

Dont quote me on this But...
Thats a pinto starter and will suit the tiger flywheel but will not go with the standard zetec flywheel. Its 12mm to long.
Bolt it up and rotate the engine by hand, mine wouldnt clear you could hear it grinding.
