Ceramic coated headers/exhausts
Anyone got any practical experience of Camcoat or similar? I'm seriously considering this
for my custom built V8 headers to help manage under bonnet temperatures and corrosion, so any comments on effectiveness, durability etc would be
appreciated.

Gets a good write up in this months PPC.... Appears to be twice as good as wrap- though presumably tested against some pretty pants wrap!!!
Is it just me or is PPC getting more expensive and thinner by the month?

Used the Cermakote finish on a set of downpipes and exhaust for the Radical.
Seems to be a very durable finish - still looking good after two seasons.
[Whereas VHT paint would have burnt off long ago]
Was able to apply the Cermakote myself but does involve pre-heating, drying then firing and polishing so maybe better to get Camcoat to do this for
you.....

my MNR has camcoat headers and altough its not had much use it seems durable!
they do still get very very hot though.
