Broken Drive Bearing

erm, Oops!
This is why i didnt have any drive on the way to the MOT!

Broken 1
Broken 1

I found this inside the rear O/S Drive hub (Mid Engine Car with Transaxle)

Anyone know where to get a replacement off hand?

Kindest Regards,
Richard.

does simplybearings.co.uk (?) have anything? see if you can find the numbers off the side of the bearing and search on there

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I'd probably replace the joint completely.. Also something amiss for it to breakup like that...

I think it was already broken. This was the first drive out in it for me.

Anyone got a spare CV joint?

Ford Part #: 72CG-4635-BA

Anyone know what this is off?

if it's a sierra one then i might have something of use to you, i've changed a cv joint thinking it was the cause of my knocking problems, but it didn't solve it. it's now in bits, any good to you?

just the normal sierra ones ? (i.e. 100mm lobro's not the cossie 108mm ones)

I've got a couple of old CV's left off a 101,000 mile granada if you need one (same joints as the sierra)

I got recon CV's for my dax from the local motorfactors (Pentland), £25+VAT each (but they couldn't do exchange ones, I got my old ones back - or so they tell me)
