Broken Drive Bearing
erm, Oops!
This is why i didnt have any drive on the way to the MOT!
Broken 1
I found this inside the rear O/S Drive hub (Mid Engine Car with Transaxle)
Anyone know where to get a replacement off hand?
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I'd probably replace the joint completely.. Also something amiss for it to breakup like that...

I think it was already broken. This was the first drive out in it for me.
Anyone got a spare CV joint?
Ford Part #: 72CG-4635-BA
Anyone know what this is off?
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

if it's a sierra one then i might have something of use to you, i've changed a cv joint thinking it was the cause of my knocking
problems, but it didn't solve it. it's now in bits, any good to you?

just the normal sierra ones ? (i.e. 100mm lobro's not the cossie 108mm ones)
I've got a couple of old CV's left off a 101,000 mile granada if you need one (same joints as the sierra)
I got recon CV's for my dax from the local motorfactors (Pentland), £25+VAT each (but they couldn't do exchange ones, I got my old ones
back - or so they tell me)
