What size / make throttle bodies RV8
OK…getting outside of my comfort zone hear but making the leap into the modern era with fuel injection.
The thor manifold on the rover v8 runs a single throttle body of 68mm.
The plan is to switch two duel throttle bodies ( one for each side) to help with bonnet clearance.
What size / make throttle bodies may work…?
Pics may help explain what I plan as Its getting late and I have had a few drinks.

The engine fills one cylinder at a time, and needs 68mm to do this, so think that it will need 68mm on both inlets. May not be correct, but seems
logical, (at least to me). Cheers Ray

According to this calculator, and only changing the number of bores & diameter, about 48mm on 2 bores gives the same sort of readings as a 68mm on
1 bore on a 3.8litre engine...

the other thing i was thinking about was where were you thinking of mounting them? if close/on to the existing flange shown, wondering if the throttle
butterfly will shield airflow to the first inlet header?

I know the Thor manifold does not yield as much BHP at high revs as the older version, BUT its better at low revs eg 1000 - 4000rpm. + not looking for
more that 200bhp from the set up.
