New Alternator position on zetec

in photo's that you guys have sent me i have notice that the alternator position has changed from the right side of the engine to the left. Why and How?

You can put it anywhere that suits. I found mine was better in the original position (on a slimline bracket) Rescued attachment front.jpg

Stick it any place out of the way. Most go under the inlet manifold.

If you have a few quid to spend you can by an of the shelf kit from the likes of Dunnell engines

MIne is as big wasa's. They are silver tops coozers is blacktop/duratec.

You have a choice of either fabricating a bracket for it or get a tiger one. Not sure if any where else make them.
