Who Can Make/Supply me a Silencer 7 x 28 inches??
I have decided to tackle the noise issue once and for all......
The existing silencer is useless, although its 34 inches long, its only 4 inches in diameter but with a 3 inch bore so doesn't leave much room
for silencing.
I have cut out the sill so i can get the biggest can possible in there. Rotary engines are notoriously loud as it is so I want some thing that will
definitely do the job.
I can fit a 7 inch silencer in there with a body length of 28 inches plus exit/entry pipes. I will add my own tip so just want it straight.
It must actually do some silencing though and last a little while as turbo rotories are very hot. I'm currently at 104 -105 db at 4500 rpm and
i would like it to be somewhere around 100 if possible. I also have a very big middle silencer across the top of the gearbox so this wont be the only
silencer.
Can anyone recommend someone to supply or make one for me? I need it by the weekend  g
If anyone on here makes them and wants to u2 me a price then please feel free.
Its going to be exposed so will need to be in a reasonable thickness stainless to with stand stone chips/cones etc.

You took the words from my mouth.
Paul will fabricate one to size, and in stainless.
His workmanship is second to none.
Take a butchers at these baby's, although the prices are probably out of date.
The quality is better than most commercial ones, and they are re-packable.
Highly reccomended.

I must say, at that price, they are getting very close to the price of the 7" can from CBS. I have one (from CBS) and it is a lovely bit of kit.
Speak to them, and I think they will put a 3" inlet on there for you....

Are you suggesting the CBS silencer is better?
