Bike carb mounting angle - is it critcal on car engines?
In the quest to find some carbs to suit my 1.8 cvh, a friend mentioned about the mounting angle of the carbs. In their original orientation mounted to
a gsxr750 engine, the carbs would be slightly angled pointing down towards inlets, but I was just going to keep it simple & mount the square on
& flat with the inlets.
Is this likely to cause any issues at all? Thanks in advance

My CBR600FX carbs were almost vertical on the bike - now they're about 30 degrees above horizontal.
Doesn't seem to bother them...

I think its the float bowls that need to be at the correct angle or this may affect the fuelling.
If they are injection it probably dosn't matter

I got my float bowls horizontal but in reality doesn't seem to bother them, after all bikes don'y run out of puff when they're on
the back wheel

My ZX6R carbs are mounted straight onto the head and work perfectly.
