header tank breather - what do i do with it?

I have a tank like this

header
header

and as far as I can tell the top outlet right under the cap on the neck, is just a breather.

I don't need it.

Whats the best way to blank it off?

If you have a pressure cap, you'll need that fitting to take the hot coolant to a safe place if/when it lifts.

It's not a breather, it's the pressure relief outlet, that you would be best connecting to a piece of tubing directed somewhere down out of harms way, in the event of the coolant overheating and blowing out under pressure

As above. Try and direct it away from the wheels because antifreeze can be quite slippery! Don't ask me how I know!

Errrmmmmm! well that could give rise to quite a few one liners.
BUT
If the pressure cap is of the two way type, "ie" lets water out, and lets it return as the system cools down, then you really need to tube it to an overflow bottle. Two way cap will have a big rubber washer held down by the spring, but in the centre will be a smaller rubber washer that is held up by a very light spring, so as the syatem cools and a vacuum is formed it will draw the water in the overflow bottle back into the header tank.
